Career Based Intervention

Career Based Intervention (CBI )is a work-study program helps students complete their education while learning the obligations of the world of work. The purpose of CBI is to guide the students toward the successful completion of a Career and Technical Education or academic high school program. Local businesses cooperate to provide training in unskilled or skilled occupations. The instructor cooperatively with the supervision of the employer coordinates the work experience.

Career Based Intervention students will have a better understanding of business and the world of work. Students will have an excellent reference and the experience necessary for future jobs. They will earn money and work experience while going to school and will also have a sound educational base and a high school diploma.
 
What kinds of jobs are available upon program completion?
 
CBI students are employed in a variety of semi-skilled or operator-level occupations and will develop the necessary attitudes, skills and abilities necessary to becoming gainfully employed.
