College Credit Plus

Ohio’s College Credit Plus (CCP) can help students earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from a local college or university.

The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide options to college-ready students.

Taking a College Credit Plus course from a public college or university is free - there is no cost for tuition, books, or fees. If students attend a private college or university, there may be limited costs.

To learn more about the process of applying and participating in the College Credit Plus program, see the CCP Steps for Heights High.

Interested students and their families should complete the Intent to Participate form and submit it to your School Counselor by April 1.

Families also need to complete the 2023-24 CCP contract to participate in the program.

The Guidance Department hosted a meeting for students & parents on January 18, 2024. See the 2023-2024 - CCP Information Night presented by representatives from Kent State University.
