The lead architectural firm chosen for facilities renovations of Cleveland Heights High and Monticello and Roxboro Middle Schools: Balog Steines Hendricks & Manchester Architects, Inc. (BSHM).

With over 50 years of experience, BSHM’s focus is on architecture for education with a particular expertise in pre-K-12 public school design. The firm also has a significant portfolio of award winning projects involving the adaptive reuse of historic schools and sustainable design. The effort is led by veteran school designer Gary Balog, FAIA. BSHM has assembled a team of expert consultants for the various disciplines required for the project, most notably, Amy Yurko, Founder of BrainSpaces. BrainSpaces is a Chicago-based consulting firm at the forefront of leading and assisting communities in educational planning and programming, which BSHM believes will be the key to the success of the High School Project.
