What time does school start?
Classes begin at 8:15 a.m. every day. Students are expected to be in the building by 8:05 a.m. School ends at 2:56 p.m. on M, W, Th and F. On Tuesday, school ends at 2:16 p.m. See the bell schedule.
When will Heights High students and parents be able to tour the new building?
All students are invited to orientations & schedule pick up events before school starts. These events will include an opportunity to tour the building. Parents and comm unity members are also invited to tour the building on September 10, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., for the Grand Opening Open House. The event will feature a dedication ceremony and school tours.

Where are the school counselor offices located?
The school counselors and social workers are located on the first floor near the main entrance.
Where are the social workers offices located?
The offices of the three social workers are located on the first floor in the west end of the building.
What entrance and exits will students use?
The main entrance is located on the east side of the building, facing the baseball/softball fields, most students will use this entrance. Some Career and Technical Education and Special Education students will use the west entrance, facing the football field.
All doors are available for students when exiting the building.
Are students and staff required to wear IDs when they are in the building?
Yes, students will receive their ID at orientation/schedule pick up or on the first day of school. IDs will be required to enter the building, cafeteria and library. All staff will also wear District IDs when in the building.
We consider the school IDs to be an important part of our safety protocols.
How can I monitor my student’s grades and homework assignments?
Infinite Campus is a secure online tool that CH-UH schools use to track and manage student information. It is the official grade book for the District. Infinite Campus Parent Portal is an easy-to-use online resource for parents and guardians. Through the portal, parents can access their child’s attendance, grades, schedule, test scores, assignments, and report cards. Parents and guardians can also contact teachers, pay fees and see important school news. To activate an account, families need an activation code, available from the school administrative assistant or contact [email protected].
Families are encouraged to enter their contact information in theri child's account to receive school news, including closing information and emergency notifications.
Transportation
My student will be riding their bicycle to school. Where are the bike racks located?
Bicycle parking is available near the main entrance (east side, facing the softball field).
My student will take public transportation to the high school. Where can I find information about RTA schedules and fares?
RTA bus tickets will be for sale at the ticket windows outside the auditorium on the first floor for $1.50/ride (cash only). Students can purchase tickets beginning 15 minutes before school and also after school – for the 30 minutes after 8th period ends.
The school is on the Cedar Road #32 (east/west) route and the Lee Road #40 (north/south) route.
The RTA Plan a Trip feature helps transit users plan a trip from any address to Heights High, which is located at 13263 Cedar Road in Cleveland Heights.
I plan to drive my student to school. Where should parents drop off their students?
Parents can deliver their students to the main entrance across from the baseball field (east side of the building).
Parents can also drop students off at the Cleveland Heights city parking lot across Cedar Road. Students can use the cross walk to cross Cedar Road.
Where should my student park if driving to school?
There is no student parking on the Heights High grounds. Parking permits are available for Cleveland Heights city lot #5, behind the Cedar Lee Theater for $34.50 per semester (cash only) and can be purchased beginning the first day of school.
Permit sales will take place from 8:00 - 8:15 a.m. at the ticket windows outside the auditorium on the first floor. On the first day only, permit sales will be extended until 8:30 a.m. Parking permits will also be sold for 30 minutes after school ends at the ticket booth.

- Football - Crawford Field at Hosford Stadium on the Heights High campus
- Boys and Girls Golf - Highland Park Golf Course
- Boys and Girls Soccer - Denison Park in Cleveland Heights, corner of Monticello Blvd and Belvoir
- Girls Tennis - Cain Park
- Volleyball - CHHS Gymnasium (Wiley until August 21)
