Monticello 8th grade students will again have the opportunity to visit Washington, DC this Spring. Trip coordinator, Dr. Joan Organ, and Mr. Sharosky met with students to explain the particulars of the trip and hand out the materials. The deposit for the trip is due the week of October 10th.
"The deposit is to insure the students a spot on the trip. We have two busses for 100 students, but if we have less than 75 students we cannot cover the cost of the second bus. So the first 50 students to turn in their deposit guarantee themselves a spot on the trip and the additional students form a waiting list" Dr. Organ said.
