Administrative Principal: Darcel Williams   Small Schools of Heights High

Welcome to the rigorous and engaging learning community of Cleveland Heights High School. For over 75 years, this school has educated our community’s young adults and prepared them to achieve great things later in life. The teachers and staff at Cleveland Heights High School provide a safe and challenging school environment that produces well-educated, responsible citizens.

We are home to nearly 2,000 students who learn within one of five learning communities called the Small Schools of Heights High. Students learn in different ways, and achievement improves when the classroom reflects their style of learning. With the five Small Schools, students have options and can choose the School that best fits their academic goals, interests, and needs.

Heights High is currently ranked ‘Effective’ by the State of Ohio, the second highest academic achievement designation. It is our second year with this ranking and every student, teacher and administrator is proud of the significant progress we have made in recent years. We are committed to building on our academic accomplishments and continuing to provide an outstanding education for our students.

These five Small Schools are organized around several major elements, including instructional models. All Small Schools will offer a rigorous curriculum designed to prepare students for advanced post secondary opportunities.
