Community Invited to Attend State of the Schools Address Tonight

Superintendent Douglas Heuer will deliver the District’s Annual State of the Schools Address on Wednesday, January 25, at 7:00 p.m. in the Cleveland Heights High School Social Room (13263 Cedar Road).  Superintendent Heuer will recap the events and achievements of the 2011 calendar year and outline the ways that CH-UH educators are working to build on the District’s progress. Heuer will discuss the District’s vision for Educational Pathways and talk about the need for school environments to capture the vision and help motivate and inspire children to learn.

Music students in the Cleveland Heights High School Instrumental Music Department will present a brief performance with a Brass Quintet called "Musik Mannschaft" prior to Superintendent Heuer’s address. The members are Cassie Espenschied and Ann Zicari on trumpets; Lillie Hall, horn; Jarrod Robinson, trombone; and Oleaser Johnson, tuba. The Noble Elementary Select Choir also will bring their Tiger spirit to the event with their rendition of “I am a Tiger.”

The CH-UH PTA will host the meeting and provide refreshments. Childcare will be provided by Family Connections.
