Teen Writing Workshops

Lake Erie Ink is offering writing workshops for students in grades 6th grade through 12th. Lake Erie Ink is a nonprofit providing written creative expression opportunities and academic support to youth in the Greater Cleveland community.
Evening Ink Writing Workshops

Tuesdays, January 17-February 21, 7-8:30 p.m.
Hip Hop recording project with DJ Doc
Learn how to scratch and find beats on a record, make your own beat using digital recording software, create lyrics individually and with the group, and record a CD with other participants.
Wednesdays, January 18-February 28, 7-8:30 p.m.
Words to change the world!
Writers impact our history and our lives. Each week we’ll read or hear from writers who change our world with written, sung, or spoken words. Come write about the issues that are important to you. Experience the power of your own voice.
College Essay Workshops
Learn how to write an outstanding college essay and even have fun with it.

Teen Café and Open Mic
Fridays, January 27, February 24, March 16, from 6:30-9:00 p.m.
Join us for pizza, prose, and poetry. Bring ideas and work to share. Admission is free. Pizza and soda for 50 cents each.
