Tiger Nation Instrumental Music Festival

January 4, 2013
Cleveland Heights, OH

It's sure to be a roaring good time filled with beautiful music! Cleveland Heights High School Instrumental Music Department is hosting a district-wide event on Thursday, January 10. Over 500 students will participate in the concert that will take place at 7 p.m. in the Dina Rees Evans Performing Arts Center at Heights High.

"This will be an opportunity for elementary school students and parents to see how amazing our middle school talent is, and for our middle school students to see how their ability to play an instrument will progress as they continue to practice each day and push themselves to the next level. It will be a show of our Tiger pride and talent at all levels across the District," Brett Baker, director of bands stated. Baker says refers to the concert as a major recruiting event that will end with over 500 students playing "Eye of the Tiger."

WKYC's weekend anchor Kim Wheeler will emcee the event. There are a limited number of tickets available, parents of Band/Orchestra students in grades 5-8 are urged to respond to ticket purchase instructions in a letter they received. Otherwise, tickets can be purchased at the door.
