UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS , OH – The Cleveland Heights – University Heights Board of Education voted last evening to change their meeting dates beginning in March for the remainder of the calendar year to the first and third Tuesdays of every month. The only exception to this will be in November, when the meeting will be held on Monday, November 3, because November 4 is Election Day. Board of Education President Mike Cicero sees the change as an opportunity to further engage residents and city government leaders.
“This change makes it easier for residents, members of our Board, and Cleveland Heights and University Heights City Councils to attend meetings without a conflict,” Cicero said. “It is unfair to our residents to have to choose between meetings of their elected officials.”

Regular Board of Education Meetings and Work Sessions air on Time Warner Cable Channel 22 approximately one week after the meeting date and are available for checkout as a DVD at the Cleveland Heights – University Heights Main Library on Lee Road approximately 2 weeks after the meeting date.
