School Tours & Other Information

Parents who are interested in learning more about the CH-UH schools may want to tour a school, talk to the principal, and/or have their child shadow a current student. The staff can also connect prospective parents to current parent leaders who can give a valuable parent perspective.

Middle School

Each of the three middle schools offers PATH (Parent Ambassadors to Heights) tours for prospective parents. PATH is a volunteer, parent-led initiative that fosters community understanding of the Cleveland Heights – University Heights City Schools.

Cleveland Heights High School

The Heights High PATH (Parent Ambassadors to Heights) tours include all the small schools, the Instrumental Music Department, Vocal Music Department, Art Department, and the Career Prep Program. However, the tour guide will customize the tour to meet the specific interests of the prospective parent.

To schedule a Heights High tour, contact Joy Henderson at 216-320-3052 or J_Henderson@chuh.org. Tours are generally 30-60 minutes long and are offered at 9 a.m. on Tuesday through Thursday.

Parents can also arrange for their child to shadow a current student - this can be a friend, or the school can match the prospective student with a student who has a similar academic schedule.
