Dec. 23, 2016 -- First semester exams for Heights High School are on January 10 -12.
Students are exempt from taking their final exam if they meet the following requirements:
- Student has earned an A for both the first and second quarters of the first semester
- Parents/guardians have signed and returned to the teacher an acknowledgement of the exemptions.
Breakfast will be served in the cafeteria from 7:30 - 8 a.m.
A modified lunch schedule with a light lunch and 'grad and go' menu will be available from 9:55-11:40 a.m.
If students do not have a morning exam, they do not need to come to school until their first scheduled exam.
However, once students enter the building for an exam, they are required to stay until they are done with their exams for the day.
The library and cafeteria will be open for students to use when they are not taking an exam.
Students must be in a classroom, the library or cafeteria at all times during the exam periods. The hallways need to be empty and quiet during the exam periods.
After students have completed their exams for the day, they are required to leave the building, unless they are in a classroom with a teacher.
