Clinical Health Careers Class Visits Gathering Place
Dec. 1, 2016 -- On November 11, the junior Clinical Health Careers class visited The Gathering Place, a cancer support center in Beachwood.
Students learned about the operations of a nonprofit agency, a variety of health careers, and some of the many free services provided to people touched by cancer, including complimentary care methods such as Reiki, massage and meditation.
Students especially enjoyed touring the playroom, where children can work through their feelings as they interact with kid-size medical equipment.

The Clinical Health Careers track is part of the Tri-Heights Career Prep Consortium. In Clinical Health, students learn the core curriculum required of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
