University Heights to Host Wiley Campus Welcome Reception for Residents

The Mayor and City Council of University Heights invite residents of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights school district to a Welcome Reception and Open House at the newly renovated site of the Heights High temporary campus at 2181 Miramar Blvd. in University Heights on August 20 from 5:30-7 p.m. 

CH-UH residents are invited to tour the new facilities and hear briefly from Cleveland Heights High School Administrative Principal Zoraba Ross.

University Heights City Council planned the evening to allow residents to see the changes to the former Wiley Middle School campus that will serve as the temporary site for Cleveland Heights High School for two years while the Heights High building on Cedar and Lee Roads in Cleveland Heights is renovated. Residents will be invited to tour the building and modular classrooms and learn more about the expectations for the school year from school district personnel.

Tours will be conducted from 5:30 - 7 p.m. by students and members of the Parent Ambassador group. The program begins at 6 p.m. and includes a welcome from University Heights Mayor Susan Infeld and Cleveland Heights-University Heights Schools Superintendent Talisa Dixon and a brief talk concerning school year expectations from Administrative High School Principal Zoraba Ross.

City and school district leaders will be available to answer questions from the community.
