Transportation

RTA bus system provides bus service to students going to and from Heights High in University Heights. The #32 runs east/west on Cedar Road and the #41 runs north/south on Warrensville Center Road.

Students should allow 10-15 minutes to walk from the Cedar/Miramar bus stop to the school.

In the morning, the south bound #41 bus will turn east onto Cedar Road and stop at the Miramar/Cedar bus stop to bring students closer to the school. During non-drop/pick up hours, the 41 stops only at the Cedar/Warrensville corner.

After school, students can board the northbound #41 at the Miramar/Cedar bus stop for the first bus leaving after school dismissal.

For students participating in after school activities, the northbound 41 will leave at the corner of Cedar and Warrensville, the regular location for the 41 bus stop.

RTA student bus tickets will be available in the school’s main office, 8-8:10 a.m. and for 30 minutes after the end of 8th period. Ticket prices are $1.50 per ride ticket.

The RTA Plan a Trip feature helps transit users plan a trip from any address to Heights High – now located at 2181 Miramar Boulevard in University Heights.

Bike racks are located to the left side of the entrance drive way.

Students can apply for a one or two semester parking permit, $30 for one semester or $50 for the year. Student parking spots are to the right after entering the school driveway. See the student parking permit application.

Student Schedules

Students who do not yet have their class schedule can view and print a schedule from the District’s Infinite Campus page on the school’s website. If students do not have a schedule on the first day of school they can pick them up in their grade level offices. Students can ask any staff member for directions to the correct location in the building.

New student scheduling will take place Aug. 17-19, 2-4 p.m. in the hallway outside of the Gym. Students are encouraged to arrive prior to 3 p.m. to sign in. After school starts all new student scheduling will take place by appointment with counselor. Parents can call the grade level counselor for an appointment.

School Counselors will be available Aug. 22-24 in the cafeteria during the lunch periods to facilitate schedule adjustments. Schedule change deadline is September 9.
