Recognitions at December 16 Board Meeting

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Board of Education recognized at its December 16 Board Meeting: Canterbury Elementary, some High School students for their participation in a United Nations Model Conference and the Transportation Department.

Canterbury Elementary School

Canterbury was recognized for being a 2014 High Progress School of Honor Program. Based on the 2013-2014 Ohio School Report Card score for math and reading, Canterbury Elementary showed consistent progress in raising math and reading skills for all student groups. Read more


Heights High Students at United Nations Model Conference

Some Heights High students participated in the Cleveland Council on World Affairs Autumn Model United Nations Conference this October. Heights High was 1  of  11  schools  that participated in the small school division, where they simulated work done at the United Nations level.  Read more 

Transportation Department

The Ohio Department of Public Safety recognized the CH-UH Transportation Department as one of the best for its Annual School Bus Inspections for the 2014-15 school year. Our Transportation Department continuously displays professionalism and pride in maintaining its fleet of school buses and our bus drivers are committed every day to safely transporting our precious cargo.
