Nov. 24, 2015 -- Senior forward Gabe Pewu was selected to the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association’s 2015-16 second team.
He was also selected for the Greater Cleveland Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association first team.
Goalie Conor Lewis was selected to the Greater Cleveland second team.
The players are selected by the coaches in the District and the State.
Connor was also named to the All Ohio Academic Team, a designation awarded to students with a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
“This is a great honor for the school and these players,” said Heights High Soccer Coach Tshepo Motsamai. “I am very proud of these boys.” Gabe and Conor are also co-captains of the team.
Four students received Honorable Mention by the Greater Cleveland Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association:
Juniors Brandon Melnick (forward), Tladi Motsamai (mid field) and Quinton Ndyajunwoha (defense) and sophomore Jaelen Starr (defense).
