Feb. 22, 2017 -- A meeting for parents of spring sports student-athletes is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 25, at 10:00 a.m. at the Heights High Wiley Auditorium.
The general purpose of the meeting is to make parents aware of the requirements student-athletes must meet in order to have the privilege of participating in interscholastic athletics.
Athletics officials will outline the schools’ essential eligibility standards and athletic policies and code of conduct. Staff will also review policies and procedures related to topics like sportsmanship, health, concussions, and sports medicine.
