CH-UH Assistant Superintendent Named Bedford Superintendent

Dr. Andrea Celico, Assistant Superintendent for the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District, has accepted the Superintendent position for the Bedford City School District. The Bedford School Board approved her contract at its June 25 meeting.

Dr. Celico has served as the assistant superintendent for CH-UH Schools for two years.

“Dr. Celico has accomplished a lot during her short tenure in our District,” said Superintendent Dr. Talisa L. Dixon. “She has led the Ohio Improvement Process, which is an established framework for internal communication and sharing best practices that we will continue to use moving forward. We wish her the very best in her new role.”

“I appreciate the time I spent in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District and the relationships that were forged. This experience has prepared me for the next step in my career. CH-UH will continue to be a great district and it has been an honor to have served here,” stated Dr. Celico.

Dr. Celico is currently wrapping up her projects and is preparing reports for her successor so he or she is well-prepared to transition. The search for a new assistant superintendent will begin immediately.
