Student Cadre Tours Wiley Campus as Crews Continue Renovations

Some Heights High students got an early look at the Wiley Campus, Wednesday afternoon, as crews continue renovations on the building which will be the Temporary Heights High for two years while the high school is being constructed.

The students are excited about going there in the fall and agreed that the renovations are way nicer than they imagined. Superintendent Dr. Talisa L. Dixon, Heights High Administrative Principal Zoraba Ross and Project Management Team member Pat O'Brien conducted the tour.

The students are members of Superintendent Dixon’s Student Cadre that was formed in October.  Dr. Dixon holds monthly meetings with the students, consisting of 16 members in grades 9 through 12. At those meetings, they provide their insights on what it’s like to be a student at Heights High and how we can make their experiences even better moving forward. They are student leaders who are making their school environment better on behalf of all students.
