July 16, 2018 -- Recent Heights High graduate Grant Heineman (‘18) is wasting no time to make his mark on the world as a filmmaker. Heineman created a feature-length movie, titled “New Heights”, for his senior project, and the film is set to debut at the Cedar Lee Theatre on Wednesday morning, July 18.

According to the official YouTube channel for GH Productions, Heineman and his friends decided in January to create a film for a senior project. Six months later, the film is set to debut at Cedar Lee on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. and online worldwide the following day.
The movie is a musical which features four original jazz compositions. The film stars several Heights High graduates and current students, including Gerald Shazor, Lily Kerr-Jung, Remi Godard, Olivia Sormaz, Garrett Vandall, and Sydney Ball, along with vocal music instructor Jesse Lange and accompanist Anne Wilson.
If you cannot make it to the Cedar Lee Theatre on Wednesday, “New Heights” will be available online starting Thursday, July 19, on the GH Productions YouTube channel.
