July 20, 2018 -- Recent Heights High graduate Grant Heineman (‘18) debuted his feature-length movie “New Heights” at the Cedar Lee Theatre on Wednesday. The film is now available online on the GH Productions YouTube channel.
The movie, which Heineman created for his Senior Project, is a musical which features four original jazz compositions.
The plot centers on two students at Cleveland Heights High School who spend their days daydreaming that they live in their own personal movie musicals. However, with the pressure of finals right around the corner, they’re both about to be in for a rude awakening.
The film stars several Heights High graduates and current students, including Gerald Shazor, Lily Kerr-Jung, Remi Godard, Olivia Sormaz, Garrett Vandall, and Sydney Ball, along with vocal music instructor Jesse Lange and accompanist Anne Wilson.
