Aug. 31, 2017 -- The CH-UH School District, in conjunction with the Heights Schools Foundation, invites all community members to visit our beautiful new high school on Sunday, Sept. 10, from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

The public is welcome to walk throughout the newly-renovated building and see classrooms and specialty areas such as the auditorium, gymnasiums, cafeteria, library and swimming pool.

Building maps will be available for self-guided tours, and adult and student docents will be stationed throughout the building to guide visitors and answer questions.

A 30-minute dedication ceremony will take place at 2:30 p.m. in the auditorium that will include student vocal performances and speakers.

The cafeteria will host interactive information tables from community and student groups, light refreshments and a giant screen with the Browns-Steelers football game.

The Heights Schools Foundation will be on hand to sell commemorative apparel, while the student-run Tiger Shop will be selling Tiger Nation gear.

“We love this building and are very grateful to the community for supporting our students with this beautiful facility,” said Superintendent Dr. Talisa Dixon. “We want our neighbors, alumni and the entire CH-UH community to join us at the open house and share in our excitement.”

Visitors will enter through the main entrance on the east side of the building, facing the baseball field. Parking is available at the school, however, event organizers encourage able bodied attendees to walk, ride their bike or park at the community parking lots near the school. Bike racks are available near the main entrance.
