May 24, 2017 -- Tiger Nation excelled at this year’s Greater Cleveland Special Olympics on May 6. Though the track and field competition was cancelled due to weather, CH-UH Olympians participated in bocce at the Italian-American Club in Wickliffe.
Cheered on by their families, teachers and Superintendent Dr. Talisa Dixon, Olympians Eleanor Chilcote, Tyler Woodson, J'Mear Collins, Daniel Hunter, Naomigrace Ngolo, Micah Williams, Jamiah Johnson and Jayden Smith represented Tiger Nation with class.
Naomigrace and Michah Williams repeated as Gold Medalists in their division. Track and field participants that were unable to compete due to the weather were Brendon Kraig, Marcel Payton, Destiny Watkins, Davon Johnson, Grayson Boyles, Gasia Thomas, Jashari Cole-Pattilo, Keith Hendricks, Jordan Hathorn, Shaniah Hobson-Johnson, and Andrew FitzGerald.
