Noble Receives $10,000 Grant from Burlington Stores

April 27, 2017 -- Burlington Stores, through its partnership with DonorsChoose.org, donated $10,000 to Noble Elementary School in celebration of its new store in South Euclid.

Burlington store manager Debbie Furlong presented the check to Noble principal Rachael Coleman during a school-wide ceremony on Tuesday, April 25.

Mrs. Coleman worked with Burlington and Donors Choose to secure the grant for her school, which services approximately 400 students from pre-K through fifth grade. Mrs. Coleman plans to use the grant to invest in hands-on technology for her students, including the purchase of Chromebooks.

“Thank you to Burlington and Donors Choose for such a tremendous gift to our school,” said Mrs. Coleman. “These resources will allow us to purchase additional technology that can enrich our students and assist our staff in providing a 21st century education. We teach our students the importance of giving back to their community, and Burlington is demonstrating just that by its support of Noble. We are truly appreciative of this donation and what it means for our school.”

Burlington, in partnership with DonorsChoose.org, makes a donation to a local school in each of their Grand Opening markets to celebrate their new store location. The Burlington store opened on Warrensville Center Road in South Euclid on April 7, just 1.5 miles from Noble Elementary.
