2017 Heights Football Schedule Announced
May 5, 2017 -- The Heights Tigers will open their 2017 varsity football game on Friday, August 25, by hosting Cardinal Mooney at CHHS Stadium.
Heights will welcome Clarkson Football North from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada the following weekend. The Tigers then play four straight road games to round out the non-conference portion of their schedule.
Heights opens Lake Erie League play at Maple Heights on September 29.
Homecoming is set for the following Friday, October 6, when the Tigers host LEL-rival Bedford. Heights also hosts Shaw on October 20 for Senior Night before finishing the season at Lorain the following weekend.
The Tigers are coming off a 2016 season in which they finished 6-4 overall and 3-1 in the LEL. Heights was runner-up in the conference to Lorain after winning the league in 2015.
