Nov. 14, 2017 -- The CH-UH City School District is implementing a two-hour delay option for days with inclement winter weather.
The two-hour delay schedule will not replace the option to close school all day, but it will allow for greater flexibility on days where the weather may improve by mid-morning. This could give temperatures a chance to rise or allow more time for the cities to clear the roads and sidewalks of snow.
Families and staff will be notified of a two-hour delay or closing via robocall, email, text, social media, local TV stations, and the CHUH.org website. To receive weather notifications, it is important for parents to have correct contact information in their students’ Infinite Campus
In the case of a two-hour delay, elementary students will begin their day at 10:50 a.m., middle school students at 10:05 a.m., and high school students at 10:15 a.m. CH-UH staff will report to work at their normal time. The school day will end at the normal dismissal time.
To Receive Weather/Emergency Calls, Text Messages and Emails
Parents, be sure to update your contact information in Infinite Campus
