Heights Alum Featured in Downbeat Magazine
Oct. 19, 2017 -- Heights High alumnus Jerome Jennings (‘99) wrote a master class column for drummers in the November issue of Downbeat Magazine.
The two page ‘Success is in the Callback’ article includes advice for drummers about musical style, technique and the business aspect of being a professional musician.

Mr. Jennings is a 2004 graduate of Rutgers University Mason Gross School for the performing arts in New Jersey and in 2007 he earned a Masters’ of Music from Juilliard School in Manhattan, NY. He currently an international performer and educator.
His jazz album The Beast was featured in the February 2017 issue of Downbeat.
While a student at Heights High he played in several music groups and was inducted into the Cleveland Heights High School Hall of Fame in 2011.
