Dec. 3, 2018 -- The online application is now available for students who are interested in the Heights Career and Technical Education programs for the 2019-2020 school year.

The Heights Career Tech Consortium allows junior and senior students to explore potential career fields with hands-on experiences in the classroom. The courses are offered through a five-district consortium, which includes Cleveland Heights, Bedford, Maple Heights, Shaker Heights, and Warrensville Heights high schools.

Students have the opportunity to earn professional certifications, industry-recognized credentials, and college credit in 23 unique pathways.

New for the 2019-2020 school year is the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management program, which will be taught through a partnership with Cuyahoga Community College.

Students from each of the five high schools had the opportunity to learn more about all of the Heights Career Tech programs at the annual Career Fair on Nov. 15.
