Fairfax Teacher Maggie McPhee Hosting University Heights Civic Awards

Nov. 8, 2018 -- Fairfax Elementary Spanish Teacher and budding comedian Maggie McPhee will serve as the host and emcee of the University Heights Civic Awards on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

McPhee has hosted each of the past two CH-UH Staff Convocation Day events to rave reviews. This past August, she delivered a memorable ukelele song to honor the district’s Master Teachers.

In addition to teaching at Fairfax, McPhee has a background in dance, musical theater, sketch comedy, and improv.

After a nine-year absence, the University Heights Civic Awards return on Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jardine Room on the campus of John Carroll University. Tickets are $25 and are available at
