Mar. 14, 2018 -- Two Heights student cellists will perform with internationally acclaimed cellist and Heights High alumna, Alisa Weilerstein, at the Cleveland Cello Society's i Cellisti Concert on Friday, March 16.
Matthew Fields (Heights High School) and Nathaniel Tyler (Heights Middle School) will perform at the concert happening at Harkness Chapel at 8 p.m.
This year’s theme, “Teacher and Student”, finds Weilerstein joining her former teacher, Richard Weiss, in a performance of Menotti’s Suite. Numerous teachers and their students will round out the program culminating in a grand finale featuring upwards of 30 cellists.
All proceeds from ticket sales provide the funds for the CCS Scholarships.
