Feb. 27, 2018 -- Heights High School freshman, and former Time For Kids reporter, Maple Buescher recently wrote an op-ed column for Cleveland.com in which she implored adults and lawmakers to enact change in the name of school safety.
“We, students, are the ones going to school every day, who walk into our buildings fearing violence. We, students, are demanding solutions,” wrote Buescher.
At just 14 years of ago, Buescher is already an accomplished writer. She was a national Time For Kids reporter in 2015-2016 and covered the 2016 Republican National Convention as the event’s youngest credentialed reporter.
