Description:

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District receives financial assistance from the federal government to provide services to students with disabilities. These dollars support the local dollars in providing services to these students. The monies are awarded based on the number of students with disabilities served by the school district.

The 2016-2017 allocation of $1,593,299.45 will assist the district in providing the following services to students with disabilities attending Cleveland Heights-University Heights City schools as well as non-public schools located within the Cleveland Heights-University Heights boundaries: program materials and supplies, classroom paraprofessionals, school psychologist, program supervision, and parent mentor services.

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the Board of Education, 2155 Miramar Boulevard, University Heights, to discuss the use of the 2016-2017 IDEA-B allocation.
