Alum Featured in Downbeat Magazine
Jan., 19, 2017 -- Heights High alumnus Jerome Jennings (‘99), recently released a jazz album, The Beast that is featured in the February issue of Downbeat Magazine.
He played in several music groups while a student in the Heights High Instrumental Music Department.
Jerome graduated from The Rutgers University Mason Gross School for the performing arts in New Jersey and earned a Masters’ of Music from Juilliard School in Manhattan, NY.
He was inducted into the Cleveland Heights High School Hall of Fame in 2011.
In November, 2016 Jerome and his band played at Nighttown in Cleveland Heights.
