Board of Education Work Session Recap
CHUH CTE Program PresentationJan. 18, 2017 -- The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Board of Education held its monthly work session on Tuesday evening in University Heights. The meeting included presentations about Career and Technical Education (CTE) and the Gifted program.

CH-UH Director of Career and Technical Education Brad Callender presented to the Board of Education about the Tri-Heights Career Prep Consortium, including its current offerings, strategic plan and future initiatives.

CH-UH Coordinator of Gifted and Fine Arts Toia Robinson presented about the District's Gifted program and recent findings from a Hanover Research study, which evaluated all aspects of Gifted in the CH-UH District.

The next Board of Education meeting will be a joint session with the Facilities Accountability Committee (FAC) on Thursday, Jan. 26, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the BOE offices. The meeting will serve as an opportunity for the FAC to report its evaluations on various aspects of the Heights High School renovation project. A reception will precede the meeting at 6:30 p.m. to honor the FAC members and their service to the Board of Education.
