Heights Ice Hockey Ready For NDCL Invitational
Jan. 12, 2017 -- The Heights High ice hockey team is set to play in the NDCL Winter Invitational over the next three days. The Tigers open play Thursday against Benedictine at 9:00 p.m. at the Cleveland Heights Rec Center.
Heights will take on Chagrin Falls on Friday, Jan. 13, at 6:00 p.m. at Mentor. The Tigers will then face Aurora at 5:00 p.m. at Mentor.
Heights is 8-9 on the season, but the Tigers have won seven of the past eight games since mid-December. Seniors Stephen Lang and Noah Weisblat lead the team with 30 points apiece. Lang has 18 goals, while Weisblat has a team-best 18 assists.
