Exam Week - Stress Free Zones
Jan. 9, 2016 -- The Heights High Student Council will sponsor Stress Free Zones during first semester exams – January 10, 11 & 12.
Study hard, then de-stress!
The activities include: art projects - coloring and making stress balls, building with Legos, Puzzle Palooza – Sudoku, crossword puzzles and other brain challenges.
The stress releiving fun will be offered during school hours in the cafeteria and library to students who are not taking an exam during any period.
On Wednesday, January 11, 1:30 p.m., the movie Suicide Squad, will be shown in the auditorium. Tickets are $2 and include popcorn.
On Tuesday, January 17, students can enjoy a Hot Chocolate Bar during their lunch periods. This Death by Chocolate activity is to recognize students for their hard work in preparing for exams.
Second semester begins on January 17. The Heights High staff members encourage students to begin the semester strong, be on time to every class, complete all assignments and ask for help when needed.
