July 27, 2016 – Monticello Middle School student Maple Buescher has spent the past year as a Kid Reporter for Time For Kids. Last week, Maple had the unique experience of attending the Republican National Convention in Cleveland as a credentialed member of the media.
Maple covered all four days of the convention and chronicled her experience for Time For Kids. She had the chance to interview a variety of people, including convention delegates and journalists such as Norah O’Donnell (CBS This Morning) and Emma Roller (New York Times).
Maple was the only Kid Reporter credentialed for the convention, making her the youngest member of the media in attendance.
