Heights Libraries Kick Off 'Card for Every Kid' Campaign
Heights Libraries logo.Aug. 24, 2016 -- The Heights Libraries and other libraries in Cuyahoga County are celebrating National Library Card Sign-Up month with the Card for Every Kid campaign, aiming to put a library card into the hands of every child under 18 in the county.

According to the Heights Libraries, families can help with the initiative in a couple of ways. One way is to stop at your local library to receive a library card for your child. Additionally, if your child already has a library card, you can bring him or her into the library to have any fines forgiven. Fine forgiveness is a one-time benefit of the campaign.

The campaign runs from September 1-30.

Families can also take a brief survey to help the libraries learn about kids and library cards. You can receive $5 off your fines by taking the survey.
