Park Synagogue Sisterhood Donates Supplies for CHUH Students in Need

Sept. 1, 2016 (via Cleveland.com) -- Every year when elementary school classes begin, there are hundreds of students within the Cleveland Heights-University Heights District whose families don't have the means to purchase necessary classroom supplies.

Fortunately, there exists the service organization Park Synagogue Sisterhood, who for the past dozen years have raised the funds and bought supplies most needed by those young students.

Each year, the women of the Sisterhood collect donations; personally shop for what is needed, based on recommendations made by teachers and CH-UH Schools social workers; then make sure the goods are delivered to the district's seven elementary schools.
