Heights High Program Update Meeting - March 10

Heights High and District administrators will host a High School Programming Update meeting on Tuesday, March 10, 6-7:30 p.m. in the Social Room. All CH-UH families, staff and community members are invited to learn about the instructional and program changes scheduled for the coming year.

This meeting comes a month after District staff held a meeting with middle school parents at Coventry to inform them of the High School Program updates. Here are some questions that came out of that meeting.

Assistant Superintendent Andrea Celico is leading the educational program planning process and will begin the March 10 meeting with an overview of the work to date.

Other team members will give specific updates in the following areas:

  • Scheduling
  • Status of specific programs, including New Tech, Career and Technical Education and Early College
  • Staffing
  • Course offerings
  • Technology
  • Safety and security
  • Extra curriculars/arts/athletics and special education

On March 2, high school and District administrators met with high school staff to review the program changes and the moving logistics for next year.

After the presentation, Dr. Celico facilitated a Question and Answer session. The administrative team was also at the meeting to give detailed information to questions, as needed.
