Jan. 19 Board Meeting Will Feature Middle School Renovation Process
Construction is slated to begin in 2017 on Monticello and Roxboro Middle Schools.

 

The Monticello and Roxboro middle school renovations are slated to begin in 2017 following the completion of the Cleveland Heights High School project.


Jan. 14, 2016 -- Next week's CH-UH Board of Education work session, scheduled for Jan. 19 at 7:00 p.m., will feature the Monticello and Roxboro Middle School renovation process.

The meeting will be an opportunity for the Board and community members to hear from the design and construction teams as they discuss the schedule and process for the middle school project.

Renovation of Monticello and Roxboro Middle Schools will complete Phase 1 of the District's Master Facilities Plan. Construction is already underway on the renovation of Heights High at Cedar and Lee. The high school project will be completed in the summer of 2017.

Construction will commence on the middle schools in 2017 and be completed in 2019. The middle schools will temporarily relocate to the Wiley campus during construction.

The Board meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the Board of Education offices at 2155 Miramar Blvd. in University Heights.
