Saying ‘Thank You’ to School Staff
Saying ‘Thank You’ to School Staff

Dorrie Pharis, Allegra Steiger and Evan Radivoyevitch (L-R) and their families recognized math teacher Robert O’Deens during the 2014-15 school year.

Nov. 22, 2015 -- Students and families use the Reaching Heights Thank-A-Teacher program to recognize school staff and make a contribution to Reaching Heights. Here is a sample of what families say:

  • My daughters speak so highly of your classes that I wish I could take one! Thank you for giving students such a thought provoking class!

  • Thank you for teaching me how to read, subtract, about magnets and how to act with other teachers. Most of all thank you for loving me!

  • You teach children to be kind. I think this is very important. My son loves you very much and he’s happy because you are his teacher!

  • Thank you for teaching me how to read and do math

Parents can use Thank-A-Teacher with the on-line form or print the Thank-A-Teacher Form and send to the Reaching Heights office.

Reaching Heights will deliver a personalized card to the person you recognize. Your words will be appreciated by the staff person you thank and Reaching Heights will use the funds to supports school-based programming.

The principal or supervisor and superintendent will be notified of each honor bestowed.

Fostering an atmosphere of gratitude by expressing a few simple words of encouragement is a gift that goes a long way!

Reaching Heights is a non-profit support organization for the CH-UH School District.

Their programs include: Many Village Tutoring Program for elementary school students, Role Model Speaker Series for 5th grade classrooms, Summer Music Camp and private music lessons for middle school students and Peer Mentors for parents of special needs students.
