MIT Professor Talks With CH-UH Students
June 6, 2018 -- MIT professor and Shaker Heights native Dr. Cullen Buie visited students at Boulevard and Heights High, explaining the steps one should take to become an engineer and the importance of the profession.
 
Dr. Buie is the MIT Meche (Department of Mechanical Engineering) Esther & Harold E. Edgerton Career Development Chair. He met with MSAN and AVID students at Heights High on May 16. He also spoke with third, fouth and fifth grade students at Boulevard.
 
Dr. Buie received his undergraduate degree in 2003 from The Ohio State University and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Standford University in 2005 and 2009, respectively. 
 
The visit was organized by Vanessa Fitzgerald, Boulevard Elementary PTA President.
