Back to School Info for Heights High
Front of Heights High School buildingWe are so excited to begin a new year and a new era in Tiger Nation!

The building that originally opened in 1926 has a new look and feel. The interior is bright and features modern infrastructure for technology and efficient heating and cooling.

Both the interior and exterior also retained the historic feel that reminds us of our past, while embracing the students of today. Ninety years after the building first opened, we welcome the classes of 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, knowing they will bring new life and outlook to our beloved Heights High.

Welcome!

First day of School is August 21. School begins at 8:15 a.m. and students are expected to be in the building by 8:05 a.m. The cafeteria opens at 7:30 a.m. where students can enjoy a free breakfast and social time until 8:00 a.m. when students can travel to their locker and first period classroom. School ends at 2:56 p.m., except on Tuesday, school ends at 2:16 p.m. See the bell schedule.

See the Heights High Transition back to Cedar and Lee FAQs.

A Parent Info Packet was mailed to families on August 11. The packed included:
Student Orientations/Schedule Pick Up

Guidance counselors will be available the first week of school to help students address problems with schedules. Counselors can be contacted by email the week before school with concerns about schedules.
