Jazz Musicians Receive Scholarships
April 27, 2017 -- Four Heights High Jazz Musicians received music education scholarships from the Lakeland Community Jazz Festival.
The awards were based on the students’ performance at the March 17-19 Jazz Festival at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio.
Sophomore Pierce Braxton (front row, L) and senior William van den Bogert (back row, R) received a scholarship to the Berklee Summer Camp in Boston.
Seniors Andy Bell (back row, L), Jeremy Kaufman (front row, R) and Ian Nocente (not pictured) received a scholarship to Lakeland Community College.
