Rox Music Teacher is LifeChanger Nominee
Jenna Hall Tucker
Nov. 29, 2017 -- Jenna Hall Tucker, music teacher at Roxboro Elementary School, has been nominated for the 2017-2018 national LifeChanger of the Year award.

Sponsored by the National Life Group Foundation, the national LifeChanger of the Year program recognizes and rewards the very best K-12 public and private school educators and employees across the United States who are making a difference in the lives of students by exemplifying excellence, positive influence and leadership.

Tucker was nominated by her colleague, Kristi Glasier. She was recognized for her impact on the learning community at Roxboro in just a short amount of time, having only been at Rox for about four months now. She has helped create an honor chorus and has worked with fifth grade students, who participated in a recent production of Shrek The Musical, to help them prepare for the event.

“Mrs. Tucker's performance as an educator makes her worthy of recognition," said Glasier. "She is an incredibly motivated individual who has quickly become a beloved member of the learning community. The students at her school respect, admire, and trust her. She has a positive nature and a willingness to collaborate with students and staff."

You can help boost Tucker's nomination by visiting her nomination page and leaving a comment of a music/teaching/learning memory or your insight on her work, and sharing the page with those you think could add their support with the hashtag #LCOY. Each winner will receive a cash award that is split between the individual winner and their school.
