Dec. 11, 2017 -- Two CH-UH staff members performed on stage with tenor Andrea Bocelli at Quicken Loans Arena on December 1.
Karen Bauer-Blazer, Social Studies Specialist, performed as part of the Cleveland Pops Chorus and Heights High Instrumental Music Director Dan Heim played viola with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra.
“Mr. Bocelli is one of the worlds most beloved tenors,” said Ms. Bauer-Blazer. “He had only seven concert dates in the U.S., so we feel especially privileged to be a part of the program."
Bocelli is an Italian classical crossover tenor, recording artist, and singer-songwriter.
He has been nominated for a Grammy and Academy award and won a Golden Glove Award.
