Feedback Requested For Social Studies Pilot Materials
Globe
Feb. 9, 2018

Dear CH-UH Families and Community Members,

This year our district has been in the process of selecting new Social Studies resources that will prepare our students for college and career readiness. Currently, we are evaluating our pilot of Social Studies programs and are looking for parent and community feedback regarding these resources. Your feedback will help the district Social Studies pilot committee make an informed recommendation of which materials should be adopted for district use. Please know that all of our pilot materials are aligned to Common Core state standards.

There will be a display table for all of the piloted Social Studies materials at the Heights Library on Lee Road beginning Monday, February 12, through Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Families and community members are encouraged to review the materials at this display.

Your child’s Social Studies teacher may have been involved in this year-long pilot. Please see the list of piloting teachers below. We value your opinion and would appreciate it if you could take a brief survey to let us know your thoughts. The survey will be open until February 20, 2018 and is accessible with a computer, smartphone or mobile device. Click here to access the survey.
