Principal: Tara Grove

It is the mission of Roxboro Elementary School, in partnership with families and the community, to provide a strong academic foundation and inspire a passion for learning. We must challenge students to reach their potential, to develop their social and academic skills, and to prepare them to meet the demands of the 21st century. Roxboro Elementary is adjacent to the Roxboro Middle School campus and has educated students in Cleveland Heights since 1920. We are proud of our level of parental involvement and encourage you to join our active school community.

The Roxboro staff looks forward to working with you in providing positive and enriching educational experiences for your child.

FLAP Grant Awarded to CH-UH
The U.S. Department of Education announced the award of more than $12.4 million in Foreign Language Assistance Program (FLAP) grants to local and state school systems in 24 states and the District of Columbia aimed at promoting the instruction of foreign languages critical to national security.

More than 55% of all FLAP funds are awarded to Chinese programs. Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District received funding, which Roxboro Elementary School used to implement and support its new Mandarin Chinese Program.
